Villarreal pushed until the end but couldn’t break through Athletic’s wall — or the weekend trend: not a single home team won.
LALIGA, in collaboration with RC Celta, is expanding its LALIGA VS project to schools in Stockholm and surrounding areas, aiming to impact 2,000 children in locations such as Hasselby, Eskilstuna, Sodertalje, Bromma, and Uppsala. The project aims to foster inclusion and eradicate hate both on and off the pitch. Through seminars held in schools, it uses footballs influence to promote positive values among children and explains how bullying, racism, sexism, and homophobia need to be eradicated.
This initiative follows the successful implementation in southern Sweden, where it has already reached 1,500 students in Helsingborg, Hässleholm, Linköping, Staffanstorp, Lund, and Gothenburg. Fundación Celta is reinforcing its commitment to football as a tool for social transformation, with the purpose of creating a positive impact on society. Through its work, it collaborates with institutions, organizations, and projects aimed at improving the lives of children and young people in different areas, always upholding the values of inclusion, respect, and coexistence.
